Social Security Disability in Arkansas – Not on Medicare Yet? They won’t tell you this – Adam Cooper

Published on May 18, 2018 – If you’re on disablility in Arkansas and under 65 you may qualify for a Medicare Supplement Plan which means you will not have any networks, co-payments, co-insurance, or deductibles.

Most agents will not share this with you because they either don’t know about it or can’t help you because they’re not contracted with the right insurance company.

You have a two year waiting period between the time your disablility starts and when Medicare starts. If you are with a particular insurance company already, they have a special exception that allows you to get one of their Medicare supplement plans also known as a Medigap plan.

You have a 30 day window of opportunity to enroll in their Medicare supplement plan when your current health plan ends. The good news is we can set it up to where when your old plan ends and your new Medigap plan starts so there will not be a lapse in coverage.

You also will not have to worry about any pre-existing conditions because during this small window of time you will not be asked any health questions.

I invite you to call to find out if you qualify for this unique opportunity not everyone will have.
